The Port Smokehouse

The Port Smokehouse is one of the best spots on Buckeye Lake to eat, drink, and enjoy great entertainment; it opens the last weekend of April every season. People come from the entire tri-state region for the great smokehouse food and wonderful company. The Port is accessible by land and water - reach us from the lake by way of the Thornport Channel past the lighthouse. We have easy docking, smooth water, and an easily accessible channel. By land, The Port is two miles south of I-70 exit 132 and 1 block west of the Rt 13 - Honeycreek Road Intersection. Once on site, savor an outstanding authentic barbecue menu which includes beef brisket, pulled pork, and award winning ribs - all of which are dry rubbed and served with our homemade sides and homemade sauces. Enjoy the fresh air and sun in the Beer Garden under an umbrella, dine inside the smokehouse, or under a 40 foot pavilion. In the evening enjoy your dinner with live entertainment under the stars.
