Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow....Your Financial Solutions. Commodore Bank is here to help you finance your dream at the Lake! Your local lenders making local decisions. On December 26, 1817 the county of Perry was formed from Fairfield, Washington, and Muskingum Counties. The naming of Perry County derived from the victorious naval commander Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, who is a famous American War Hero after defeating the British in a naval battle in 1813. Commodore Bank derives its name from that famous American war hero, and the tall ship in the bank’s logo is a rendering of the US Brig Niagara, which Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry sailed, fought, and defeated the British with on Lake Erie in 1813. The rendering of the Brig Niagara reflects the history, strength, service, tradition and pride of COMMODORE BANK.
